Reliable Advertising and Distributing, Inc.

was founded in 1932 in Columbus German Village by Mr. Hackman and was sold by his son Jack Hackman in 1974 to Harold E. Baker.
Harold operated Reliable Advertising along with his son Donald H. Baker for forty years in Italian Village at the corner of E 3rd street and Summit Street. The Reliable truck can be seen transporting it's delivery workers throughout the inner-city neighborhoods and subburbs where carriers hand deliver bagged advertising materials door to door in all kinds of weather every week. The crew of a half dozen workers have become more like a family than coworkers. They pulled together and lived up to the company name as Don's health began failing. When Donald H. Baker passed away on December 14, 2016, his daughter Julie A. Baker decided to carry on her father and grandfather's legacy in operating Reliable Advertising.
In March 2017 The company moved to 1358 E. 5th Avenue Columbus where it continues to distribute advertising materials for many large companies.
